Roles, permissions, and user management
SimpleAct supports multiple users per workspace with different roles. This lets you assign responsibilities clearly and restrict access.
Information
Only admins and editors can add or remove users. Viewers have no access to user management.
Roles
Admin
Full access: All features, user management, settings, enterprise options. Can set up 2FA.
Editor
Edit: Inventory, risk assessment, checklists, documentation. Can add users. No access to audit log or settings.
Viewer
Read only: View dashboard, inventory, reports. No editing.
Audit permission
A separate audit permission is required for the audit log and audit playbook. This is typically assigned to admins.
Information
Each plan has limits on the number of users (e.g. Starter: 3, Professional: unlimited).
