Rule-based compliance assessment: which EU AI Act obligations apply to your system?

Legal Logic automatically answers the question: which specific obligations from the EU AI Act apply to this AI system? Based on your answers about role, risk level, and use case, an individual obligation catalogue is generated.

Information

Legal Logic is an Enterprise feature available from the Enterprise plan.

How it works

  1. 1Select the system in the selector
  2. 2Complete the questionnaire: answer questions about role (provider/deployer), risk category, and use case
  3. 3Set review cycle and review owner
  4. 4Click "Run assessment"
  5. 5View the result: which EU AI Act articles apply and which do not
  6. 6Use the result as the basis for the audit playbook and governance

The result

The result shows a structured list of all relevant obligations – sorted by article, with reasoning for why each applies or does not. Each obligation links directly to the corresponding module in SimpleAct.

Review cycle

You can define how often the assessment should be repeated (e.g. every 12 months). SimpleAct automatically reminds the review owner when the next review is due. This keeps the assessment current – even when the system or the regulatory landscape changes.

When to use Legal Logic

Before the project

To clarify early whether and which EU AI Act obligations apply – before the system goes live.

When changes occur

When the system is expanded, a new provider is involved, or the use case changes.

Before an audit

To confirm that all obligations are known and documented.
